Come and spend election night with us! It's a great way to be in queer/trans community while we await the election results and to show solidarity with people in prison, particularly those who can't vote because they are locked up.
Every year we send out a holiday card to all prisoners on our mailing list. We know that being in prison over the holiday period can be especially lonely and difficult, so we like to send a special mailout to let people inside know that we are thinking of them. We always need extra help to write personalised messages on the cards, stuff envelopes, etc. so if you can spare some time, please join us.
This will be held on Thursday 12th December - we'll be keeping an eye on the news throughout the evening, so come and distract yourself from election chaos with some positive solidarity work.
It will take place from 7-9 pm, at the London Friend, 86 Caledonian Rd, Kings Cross, London N1 9DN.
We look forward to seeing some of you there!
