Welcome

Bent Bars is a letter-writing project for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, gender-diverse, intersex, and queer (LGBTQ+) prisoners in Britain and Northern Ireland.

The project includes people who are held in prisons, secure mental health units, and immigration detention.
